Simran-Thirai: Explain to me why does this blouse go with this saree?

Am I missing something here?

Considering the makeup, she wasn’t too busy to have time to pick the right blouse; she generally has a good sense of color and balance, so what gives?

Hate the black blouse in this saree combo

I know, one of you is going to say that black is at least a quaternary of quainary color in the saree; more over, black goes with everything. Wrong!

The whole reason for choosing the secondary or tertiary color for the blouse is that it shows continuity and in this case the continuity is broken by the presence of multitude of colors in between.

I think the blouse could have used a trim to bring it in line with the saree design.

Sangeeta ghosh in a sienna colored saree

Some might call this color umber, but this is the sienna color. The name of the color comes from Siena, Italy and it was used as paint pigment.

It is an interesting combination of yellow and brown.

I am keeping the discussion to the color because I have nothing notable to say about the saree except that is an earnest, congenial saree. I think a little tighter drape and a different fall attachment might have improved it a bit.

Took me a minute to fully appreciate the beauty of this picture. Yes, it is taken in a shallow water but the saree is not wet, or at least the part that is visible is not wet.

I love how the jet black hair are flowing in the water, the bikini blouse with white embroidery and the saree with a think brocade border adds just the right color.

I think it would look better if less of the skin was showing but all in all this is a stunning picture.
